Consultation

Consultation is a vital component of understanding taxi operations within a licensing authority area.

 

We offer the option of online consultation as an alternative means to complement the more traditional face to face, focus group, postal and telephone based consultation.  This provides consultees with choice and additional flexibility and opportunities to participate in consultation.  

Consultees are provided with a web address for the relevant questionnaire for the licensing area and type of consultation they have been invited to participate in.

The consultation types can include:

Public Consultation - Where members of the public are invited to provide comments on their experience of using taxis and their opinions on aspects of taxi service provision

Stakeholder Consultation - Stakeholder groups such as representatives of the licensed trade and night time economy, employers and businesses are invited to provide comments on their experience and opinions on taxi service.

Trade Consultation - Members of the taxi trade, including drivers, operators and trade representatives are invited to provide their comments and opinions on aspects of the taxi trade.
